How to upload my video?

Upload your video to YouTube (and feel free to share as well on any other social media app as well) and include the hashtag #theearthsayshishow in the description for visibility.

But can use animals or AI. And underaged person must contain one adult or parent in the clip.

Only one participant per act allowed.

What is the video length?

All submissions can be max. 1 minute long.

1) Purpose & Spirit

• The Earth Says Hi Show (“TESHS” / the “Show”) exists to celebrate fun, creativity, and human unity.

• Today’s theme is greeting potential alien visitors (i3). Future editions may greet time travelers, cheer up communities, or spotlight extraordinary skills—same principle, new themes.

• This is entertainment only. We do not claim alien contact is real or imminent.

2) Eligibility

• Open worldwide, void where prohibited.

• 18+ may enter. Minors need verifiable parent/guardian consent.

• You must have the right to appear in the video and to include anyone/anything shown.

3) How to Enter (No Purchase Necessary)

• Record a video up to 60 seconds that is positive, welcoming, and family-safe.

• Upload to YouTube (public) and include #TheEarthSaysHiShow and your country tag (e.g., #JPN).

• You may also share the same video on TikTok/Instagram/Facebook/X for reach.

• Merch option (recommended, not required): Wearing the official shirt/cap helps branding.

  • To avoid illegal “purchase required” issues, entries without merch are fully valid. If you want branding, you can print our free badge from the site or display “The Earth Says Hi Show” on screen.

• Limit: 1 entry per person per season.

4) Safety & Content Standards

Strictly prohibited:

• Danger (stunts, weapons, explosives, harmful substances), gore, jump-scares, flashing lights, and excessive volume.

• Hate speech, harassment, discrimination of any kind (including race, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation).

• Political campaigning/propaganda; deception, hoaxes, or misinformation.

• Illegal activity, drugs, or unsafe animal handling (animals must be domesticated and under control).

• Sensitive personal data in your video (addresses, IDs, medical info, etc.).
  Platform compliance: Your video must comply with the rules of YouTube and any platform you post on.
  Music & media: Use original or properly licensed royalty-free music and assets only.

5) AI/CGI, Deepfakes & Misleading Edits

• You may use tasteful effects for creativity, but no deepfakes/impersonations of other people (celebs, politicians, private persons) without written permission.

• No false claims (e.g., “official NASA collab”).

• If AI is used, you’re still responsible for rights, accuracy, and safety.

6) Voting, Rounds & Editorial Rights

• Discovery: We highlight eligible entries on the Show’s channels.

• Rounds: Community voting by country → global finals.

• Anti-fraud: We remove bot votes, bought engagement, or suspicious spikes.

• Editorial control: We may feature, edit, excerpt, caption, or decline any entry for any reason (safety, legality, fit, time). No guarantee of publication.

• We may adjust timelines, mechanics, or categories for fairness or compliance.

7) Prizes, Recognition & Taxes

• The Show is for fun and recognition. Prizes are not guaranteed.

• If sponsors join, we’ll announce any prizes and rules before awarding them.

• Winners are responsible for any taxes/filings tied to prizes in their jurisdictions.

8) Ownership, License & Moral Rights

• You own your video.

• By entering, you grant the Show (and its owners, affiliates, sublicensees, partners) a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable license to use, host, reproduce, edit, adapt, remix, create derivative works from, publish, distribute, publicly perform/display, and monetize your entry (in whole or part) in any media now known or later developed, for Show purposes (including promos, compilations, sponsor reels, documentary projects, platform reposts, and sales).

• You grant a publicity release to use your name, voice, likeness, city/country in connection with the Show.

• Where permitted by law, you waive moral rights (or agree not to assert them) against permitted Show uses.

• We may disqualify or ban any participant for: rule breaches, unsafe behavior, harassment, vote manipulation, spam, or rights violations.

• We may suspend, modify, or cancel any edition for technical, legal, or fairness reasons.

15) “Game of Skill” & No Consideration

• This is a game of skill (creativity/impact), not chance.

• No purchase is necessary to enter/win. Buying merch does not improve odds.

• Void where prohibited and subject to all applicable laws.

16) Liability Limits, Indemnity & Disputes

Not legalese, just facts: You can’t make yourself unsuable, but you can limit risk. Here’s the enforceable approach used by serious creators:
